NORTH NAPLES. Bayside Seafood Grill and Bar is located at Venetian Bay. This festive restaurant offers patrons a casual dining setting with a few tables that overlook the nearby beach. Specialties here include their shrimp bisque, sautéed pistachio snapper, and oak-grilled mahi mahi. The downstairs café area serves sandwiches and salads. Bayside serves a Sunday brunch. NORTH NAPLES. Bha! Bha! is an upscale restaurant that is unique in the Naples area, for it specializes in Persian cuisine. The restaurant's interior is noteworthy for its traditional décor, which includes authentic Persian rugs and artwork. Chef Michael Muir wows patrons with such dishes as basmati rice and duck pomegranate. Be sure to save space for one of Bha! Bha!'s excellent homemade desserts. Al fresco dining is available.

OLDE NAPLES. First Watch Restaurant is located just west of the center of Olde Naples, near Lowdermilk Park. The restaurant serves better-than-average diner fare in an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a tearoom. This is a great place to visit for either breakfast or lunch. You have your choice of an omelet, soup and sandwich plate, bowl of fresh fruit, salad, or a burger. Al fresco dining is available.

OLDE NAPLES. Maxwell's on the Bay is one of the Naples area's favorite seafood restaurants. This restaurant is simply decorated, the decorators opting to emphasize the picturesque views of Naples Bay en lieu of obtrusive interior furnishings. The result is a dining environ that is comfortable, if not homey. The menu offers such savory entrées as New England lobster, nut crusted grouper, and snapper maison. Non-seafood options, like their excellent roast Canadian duck, are also available. Reservations are suggested, especially for dinner.

OLDE TOWNE. This restaurant is responsible for one of Naples's most fun events ­ the Great Dock Canoe Race. The Dock at Crayton Cove is an open-air restaurant that enjoys ideal views of Naples Bay. The atmosphere here is informal, and the place has a sort of island feeling to it. The menu is reasonably priced and includes several seafood dishes bearing a taste of the tropics, such as Florida swordfish, Jamaican jerk shrimp, and plantain snapper. Non-seafood options are also available. Reservations are suggested.
